As a freshman analyst, I research the financial performance of various companies, studying their 10Ks, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to predict their stock futures, and pitch the stock to the rest of HCIC. Recently, I have studied the industries hardest hit by COVID-19, specifically the airline and cruise industries.

Since the age of thirteen, I have been investing my allowance and meager earnings under my father’s account, when I turned eighteen, I set up my own account and moved every penny I could spare into the market, and now, at nineteen, I work with other members of the Hillsdale College Investment Club to manage over one hundred thousand dollars of Hillsdale College’s endowment.

My interest in market research, financial analysis, and predicting future performance draws me to investment banking; however, I am also highly intrigued by consulting and private equity, both of which require the same deep research and understanding of companies but allow for more involvement in their outcomes.
