As Treasurer and member of the board, Gavin communicates with board members about the club's finances to help plan events and other club functions. He also maintains the club's social media presence through LinkedIn and Instagram to maintain contact with alumni, generate connections for club members, and create interest for annual recruiting. Before becoming a board member, Gavin was a member of the club's technology sector and learned about the cause-and-effect relationships between tech firms and global events.

Gavin hopes to enter the world of wealth management after graduation, after having learned the importance of people-skills through his sales background. He believes that the Investment Club, while teaching analytical skills, is social at the core. This is a club that creates connections with potential employers, supports and maintains contact with alumni, and builds friendships. Gavin values these opportunities to learn from others because they will help him support the financial well-being of future clients.
