My experience so far in Investment Club has been great! I joined this club as a potential Finance major hoping to learn more about the investment world, and to join a group of people with similar interests who are dedicated to their work and giving back to the College in this unique way. As a financial analyst, I will be working in my sector to connect with my peers and diligently provide for the club. I will be exploring investment options, meeting with club members and school faculty, and engaging with many in the finance and investment industry to grow in investment knowledge and advance the work of the club. Many in my sector are new to the club and working on developing our approach to exploring potential investments, but we are hoping to soon jump into plenty of research and create many deals and opportunities for the club.

So far I do not have a specific plan for after college, but I am really hoping to get into the business and finance world. I especially love the idea of running my own small business, but understand the work it takes to get there. I love the idea of leading a team to grow and develop a business. Investment club will give me a great experience in a team setting and teach me many valuable financial tips, which will apply to working in a business. My ability to connect with my peers, effectively solve problems, and handle my responsibilities will greatly benefit me in this process. I love the idea of working in or running a small business because it ties together financial management, accounting records, economic principles, and investment opportunities, all while benefitting the community surrounding it.
